Our first project for my Adobe Illustrator class was to make an animal from simple shapes. It has to appear as if they were cut out from construction paper. The giraffe is made from 52 individual ovals, rectangles, and triangles.

This was supposed to be a simple project, designed to teach a few basic things about Adobe Illustrator. I went a little overboard with the number of pieces in my animal, as well as adding a tree, clouds, and mountains. I felt like a kid while making this piece of art, which is reflected in my reverse "e" in my signature.
